We are Ruth Ann and Doug Lloyd. We reside near Wasilla Alaska about 45 miles north of Anchorage. We are retired. We spend a great deal of of our time taking digital photographs of wildlife and natural scenes both here and on the many trips we are fortunate to make.

Doug's major focus tends to be on birds and wildlife and Ruth Ann's is more eclectic.

Meet Toots our 9 year old Golden Retriever. She is our constant companion and goes everywhere with us. She is a nationally certified Delta Society Service Dog and visits often in Senior Centers, Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Schools. On a day to day basis she is our clown but when Ruth Ann puts her working clothes on her she turns into a gentle well mannered young lady.

Alaska is a photographers dream.

We started in Digital Photography about 15 years ago with a Sony FD 81. Over the years we have upgraded many times. Doug is currently using a Canon Digital SLR's 7D, 50D, 40D and 20D.  Doug recently added a Canon 500 MM f/4 lens to his arsenal along with a Canon 300mm f/4 and a Canon 100mm Macro F2.8. Ruth Ann's primary camera is a Canon Digital SLR XSI.
